U11's v St. Davids - 28th. Jan. 2024

Sunday saw our mighty U11's host St Davids at home in Pills Park.
It was an exciting game of rugby and the Wasps started strong keeping The Saints firmly camped in their own half.
The crowd eagerly watched the points rack up on the new scoreboard with many a cheer coming from the sidelines from our loud and proud support crew.
Good teamwork showed the ball moving across field and some cracking trys were scored.
The Saints crept back a little to put some hard won points on the board.
Everyone put in a shift but just wanted to mention well done to Oscar and Noah for doing a stint on the St David's team and to Olly D who made some great ground. I think his first Wasps try is coming soon.
Everyone gave maximum effort and it showed at the final whistle 54-14 to The Mighty Wasps 🐝.
Trys -  Grace (3), Kyzer, Isla (2), Tom (capt), Dexter
Cons -  Carys x 7
Many thanks to everyone who supported our pop up cafe in the village hall. Lots of tea, coffee and bacon rolls were sold raising funds for the U11's upcoming tour to The North Wales Festival 2024. Particular thanks to Toni-Marie Dorkings, Dani Selley-Busby and Joel Codd for running this and Rob Owens for helping to make it happen.
The Mighty U11s have their first cup fixture this Sunday a quarter final at home to Fishguard. The pop up cafe will be operating again. Please come along and support us. 🐝🐝
