The game started slowly which highlighted how our heads were down before the off and that we need a solid warm-up before kick-off to set us up well. Our head went down after they crossed the line early on and they continued to knock on the door in the early stages. However, different to past Llangwm we put in a good defensive shift on the try line with the ball being held up a few times. Just unfortunate to not get the ball clear and we didn't make our life any easier with trying to play off our line.

Our Captain Kieran had to come off after a collision with Liam so I wish him all the best if he's still in A&E. And a speedy recovery as we lacked leadership throughout the match which was obvious when we had ball in hand. The first up tackles today were better but still only a few individuals stepped up to the task.

The second half was very much the same and we had a large handicap that set us back and we lacked any passion. Our drift defense on the right handside was very strong which is testament to good numbers turning up to train so we can work on our defensive systems yet we were still undone by runners up the middle and not holding our width on the opppsite side. The ref didn't give us many decisions but we were architects of our own downfall so I hope that wasn't the last match of the season as it doesn't well reflect the work we've put in and the performances that we have given.

We move onto next season and we still have a lot of work to do as a team but also as individuals. Fitness is key to the whole team and if we want to be able to maintain our defensive system and attack clinically we really have to put in the hours in the gym and doing some cardio.
