Llangwm U10's hosted Crymych this morning on a crisp bright morning. It was evident from the start that the boys would be up against it and the lack of match time and training due to the recent weather showed as they conceded 2 early tries. However, they didn't drop their heads and battled hard to stop Crymych in their tracks. Some excellent counter rucking saw some much needed ball and with great passing and support play allowed Rhys to get the Llangwm score board ticking. Crymych hit back with strong runners and unfortunately the tackling seemed rusty at times and they scored 3 more unanswered tries before the half time break. The second half saw a much improved performance and all the boys dug deep and started playing like the team can. Flowing rugby, big hits, great rucking and loose play made for a hugely entertaining game with Rhys crossing for another 2 tries and Leo and Darcy with 1 each. Crymych didn't let up though and also scored 4 tries in the second half. Final score Llangwm 5 - Crymych 9.

Though the scoreboard favoured Crymych today there were massive positives and streaks of fantastic play from the Llangwm U10's. A lot to work on in the coming weeks but a great performance none the less. Will Morgs tackling and carrying today was outstanding. Rhys and Darcy ball carrying superb. Support play and passing brilliant from Jack and Callum. Harry had a stormer today and huge improvements made. Sniping darting runs from George Griff, Leo and Oscar tore the defence apart at times. But the best thing was the team spirit as not one of them gave up even after the early opposition tries. Well done boys.
